Objectives for August
I played one further short session on July 31st, although I played on my desktop PC, and therefore without the support of PT. I played two tables of $50NL for just over an hour, to complete my bonus at PokerRoom. I won just under $50, so I ended July winning about $550, which I am absolutely thrilled with!
I feel like my game has progressed a long way in July, so it is time to set some goals for August :

I feel like my game has progressed a long way in July, so it is time to set some goals for August :
- Increase my BR by $1000 (including rakeback). (I anticipate earning around $250 in RB in 10k hands of $50NL in August)
- Play 10k hands
- Post lots of suited connector hands on my blog (My PT analysis, prompted by Dodgyken's link last week indicated that I am losing money on suited connectors!)
- Watch 3 CR videos per week, and take notes on key points raised
- Focus on making better player notes - colour coding alone is not enough!
If I can achieve the above, I will be bankrolled to take a shot at $100NL by September 1st.

GL with your goals $1000 is a big ask so gl with that. I was reading in the spotlight on cr that childs guy this week there was 1 line that stood out to me about the videos
"Many of their decisions may not be verbalized, such as quickly folding a marginal hand in early position without even a thought. Paying very close attention to the hands that are played/not played, why they are played/not played, against who they are played, and in what position they are played/not played will really help anyone develop the full potential of their game."
And player notes i have the book killer online poker 2 and it has a section specially for this. I try to get 1 consept from every book i read and ive got 3-4 from this 1 so far its worth a look up.Ebay or amazon youll get it.

i had a sweat session last night and dodgyken was making notes on players
i had been making no notes up until that point

Good luck with the goals for this month.
You can never have enough notes on player's. If you play with them regularly try and spot patterns in there play - how they play Pairs etc and what hands they raise with and where from.
