Still here, still not playing much, still going to Vegas for the WSOP
Here goes with my third blog post in the past five years!
Quite honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised (or upset) if Google had shut down my blogger account and deleted my ramblings, due to inactivity.
I guess that storage space is so cheap these days that my blog will survive in perpetuity, even if I never post again.
Anyway, it has been three years since I posted, and about 18 months since the US Government shut Full-Tilt Poker down, locking up my $100 or so.
As I didn't get to Vegas last summer for my first blank year since 2005, I haven't played a single hand of live poker since 2010. This doesn't overly concern me, as I have played enough live 1/2NL in Vegas to know that my tight-aggressive approach usually delivers decent results, against the typical Vegas crowd who are mostly drunk, and hell-bent on gambling it up.
This year I am splitting my trip across three separate properties. I start with 3 nights at the MGM where I will be found either in the poker room or the lazy river! I then head over to the Venetian for three nights, where I have been intending to stay for several years now. Finally I wrap up with 3 nights at the Flamingo.
A few random goals for this trip are as follows:

A few random goals for this trip are as follows:
- Visit some of the outlying casinos that I haven't been to yet, including M, GVR, South Point
- Visit the Nuclear Test Museum
- Buy some inexpensive $1 chips in the Gambling General Store from defunct casinos
- Work out every day and try to limit myself to 2 meals per day, to avoid gaining too much weight
- Eat at better restaurants, and at less drive-throughs!
